Lou's Miu Mius

My pal Francis was in town a bit ago. We did lots of fun things, like shopping with Agyness Deyn--OK, we saw her in a bookstore, but she was shopping, and we were shopping, so it counts. And YES, a bookstore! The kind that only has books! She wasn't getting coffee, they don't have any! Good thing, because it would be a real strain on our imaginary friendship with Agyness if she wasn't a well-rounded person.
We also went to the Whitney Biennial and had the same favorites:
Aurel Schmidt, Master of the Universe/Flexmaster 3000
Storm Tharp, Miss Cloud.
Minotaur made of cigarettes, beer cans, and pretty flowers? Weird blurry woman wearing fur, ribbons, and more pretty flowers? WIN.
But back to the shoes. Went to Beacon's Closet, and Lou and the girl working at the shoe case developed such a deep and meaningful relationship while Francis was looking around that she was willing to fish through the back of the case and find these Miu Mius in my size. True, they are not THE Miu Mius of the moment, and I guess they're out of season, but I don't care, it feels like fall today anyway and with my pathetic store credit they were under 25. I love the flowers and the heel. Thanks Lou!
